Our facility offers a safe environment by providing private rooms containing four beds each that are gender specific. There are shared bathrooms in each hall. Families are provided private rooms with cribs, changing tables, and a private bathroom. Our staff and volunteers provide residents with reliable transportation to approved destinations including work, interviews, and doctors appointments. Life skills training is different from support, help, or assistance in that the aim is to promote self-sufficiency. Life skills classes have three broad categories: Core or fundamental skills (classes on numeracy, literacy, and information technology) Independent living skills (classes on managing a household, parenting, budgeting, professionalism, appointment keeping, contracting services, dealing with bills and correspondence) Social skills (classes on interpersonal skills, gratitude, boundaries, conflict resolution, addiction and recovery, effects of social media, anger management, developing self-confidence). https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5d6c5732c858a700011cb3cc/1582843914512-SWD1W30LQJR8Z5H51UQH/IMG_0427.jpg Services - Meals A commercial kitchen in the Bethlehem House facility allows staff members to prepare and cook three meals daily, 365 days a year, for each resident.
